Nora's Newborn Sneak Peek
Sweet little Nora was a great model for her newborn photos earlier this week. She had a spring flower session with pinks and purples and her sister was a super helper and loved snuggling with her baby sister for pictures. I was so excited to see this family again after photographing them last fall and it was wonderful to meet their newest little one.
We started off with photos of the two sisters with the pink carriage, and big sister did a great job standing next to the prop or sitting beside it. She wanted to make sure her sister had the paci and all appropriate headbands, and was a great helper for these special photos.
Then we captured family images and some with just mom and dad, which always are a highlight of a portrait session. Plus big sister was still so excited to take pictures that we got the cutest ones of the girls on the rug together and I managed to snag a photo of a very quick and spontaneous kiss.
Nora then had pink and purple colors and flowers for the rest of her session, with a cream flooring and bucket images and more on the cream rug. She was also the perfect size for snuggling into the heart bowl so I pulled out the purple vine flowers to make it nice and girly.
At the end Nora almost didn’t make it through the second lavender blanket, but after a short time with mom she was back asleep and I’m so glad we got to photograph her on both the pink and purple fabrics. She really liked being either fully on her tummy or fully on her back, and so I did a quick wrap around her at the end that I just loved as it shows her curly legs.
A big thanks to this family for coming back for these special newborn photos. I loved seeing you again and meeting Nora - she’s just perfect.
