Sweet Henry came to the studio last week for some special milestone photos as he celebrated being 4 months old. He was a cute little serious guy, but we got some adorable photos of him doing some tummy time and sitting propped in a few buckets. And we even snagged a smile at the end!

Henry’s cousins had recently been in for photos, too, and it was so fun to meet another member of this family and capture baby photos. This is such a fun stage to photograph, as babies start to really make eye contact and flash shy smiles.

Henry was also an expert at holding his head up while on his tummy, and he was unfazed by my camera and calmly kept his eyes on mom. I loved his sweet little outfits and suspenders, and we got photos with his tiny shoes and without them when we started to discover his toes.

While Henry sure made us work for a smile there at the end, it was certainly worth it and I’m so glad we stayed at if for that one special moment.
