These sweet sisters came in the other day for some really fun photos. They were unable to have their end-of-year dance recital do to Covid yet had already gotten their costumes ordered. They were quite bummed so mom wanted to do something special and have a fun photo session in all their recital costumes plus capture pictures in the oldest in her first communion dress. The girls were so excited during our entire time together and I truly had a blast doing all things girly and sassy.

One special thing I enjoy doing is telling kids that sometimes, magic things appear in photos when I get them on my computer. And if they sit with their hands out or up, sometimes Tinkerbell herself puts pixie dust in their photos. That really hit home for these fairy-loving girls as they were all over doing their best for magic pics. The inner kid in me just loved it! So I hope the fairies did them justice as I think they certainly got some great fairy magic for several of their sassy dance poses.

Mom also wanted to capture some very special images in her oldest daughter’s first communion dress. Wow what an amazing dress! I’d have loved it as a kid to have so many sparkles plus butterfly clips in my hair! The little girl was so sweet and showed me her shoes and special rosary gifted from her sponsor. She even got to try out a new floral sweep background I’ve been wanting to pull out. While I learned I need to work out the kinks of how to keep it flat while kids walk across it, I still call it a win as those images are just gorgeous!
