This little guy just turned one, and his mom went all out with fun props for him to celebrate with a Wild One theme. I had been eyeing a gorgeous new jungle type background for a while, and when his mom mentioned the theme I was beyond excited to go overboard with the backdrop and adding in other props to match. AJ had a custom little onesie that read “wild one” and we did some jungle leaves and animal print balloons to capture nice photos beforehand. We also snagged some with his big sister, who did a great job getting AJ to smile and was a big help with all the balloons. I also can’t wait to share their family photo as everyone looked at the camera on the first take. That hardly ever happens!

We ended the session with some fabulous cake and AJ went to town on smashing and destroying. He did taste it at some point and decide it was good, but mainly he was there for the smearing of cake on the floor and then walking around before coming back for more. I love the balloon arch the family made that we lay in the background and dotted with the animal print balloons. What a fun and festive way to celebrate this little guys first birthday, and I had a blast being part of the memories!
